AKL Founder and CEO Quoted in U.S. Power Africa 2014 Annual Report

Richard Herbert, the Founder and CEO of Aeolus Kenya (“AKL”), a founding private sector member of the U.S. Power Africa initiative, was quotedin theU.S.Power Africa 2014AnnualReportreleasedinJuly.

The Report detailed Power Africa’s successes across the Continent of Africaduringits first year, and charted the way forward for increased U.S. – African economic cooperation in the yearahead.

Speaking about the $150 million, 61 megawatt Kinangop Wind Park, which AKL developed and closed with U.S. Power Africa assistance in November2013,Mr.Herbert praisedtheroleofPowerAfrica,saying: “It has been critical to our success that Power Africa provides access to several arms of the American Government, streamlining the process for developers on the ground so that we do not have to approach multiple agencies independently, but have Power Africa at the center directing our advocacy across agencies.” Download PDF Here...
